The Digital4Business project is proud to collaborate with the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV Bucharest), one of Romania’s most prestigious higher education institutions and a leading academic centre in agricultural sciences, veterinary medicine, biotechnology, environmental engineering and rural development.
With a remarkable 173-year tradition in education and scientific research, USAMV Bucharest has played a key role in training highly qualified specialists in engineering, biological and biomedical sciences. Today, the university is home to more than 12,000 students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, benefiting from a dynamic academic environment focused on innovation, sustainability and excellence.
USAMV Bucharest comprises seven faculties, each dedicated to developing expertise in fields that are essential for the sustainable development of society:
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Horticulture
- Faculty of Animal Production Engineering and Management
- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- Faculty of Land Improvement and Environmental Engineering
- Faculty of Biotechnologies
- Faculty of Management and Rural Development
The university offers a comprehensive academic portfolio, including 31 bachelor’s programmes, 33 master’s programmes and doctoral studies across seven scientific fields. Internationalisation is also a key priority, with study programmes available in foreign languages, including Veterinary Medicine taught in English and French. In addition, students can pursue specialised master’s programmes in areas including food biosecurity, biotechnology and entrepreneurship.
