Digital4Business Master’s at the BEiNG-WISE Meeting in Italy
We’re pleased to share that the Digital4Business Joint Professional Master’s Programme was recently presented at the COST Action BEiNG-WISE meeting, which took place on 24 June at the University of Calabria in Cosenza, Italy. Representing the Digital4Business consortium, Gurjot Singh , Assistant Professor of Cyber Security at Linköping University took the opportunity to introduce our Master’s programme to a diverse and international audience.
The event brought together nearly 55 participants from more than 25 countries, including representatives from EU and Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC). It provided an ideal setting to promote the Digital4Business programme to a network of professionals and academics engaged in capacity-building and education initiatives across Europe.
During his presentation, Gurjot introduced the Digital4Business website and outlined the programme’s key features – notably its flexible learning formats, which include full-time, part-time, and accelerated pathways, as well as standalone micro-credentials. He also shared details of the recent ASIIN accreditation, which confirms the high academic standards and industry relevance of the programme.
Emphasis was placed on the practical learning approach that underpins each module, including seminars, case studies, labs, and individual or group projects. This hands-on structure is designed to ensure students gain actionable digital skills they can apply directly in the workplace – whether they’re aiming to upskill in their current role or transition into a new career in cybersecurity, digital business, or emerging technologies.
Gurjot also highlighted the strength and diversity of the Digital4Business consortium, which includes leading universities and industry stakeholders from across Europe. He explained how the curriculum has been peer-reviewed by both academic experts and business leaders, ensuring alignment with real-world needs and future labour market demands.
The presentation concluded with a call to action, inviting participants to help amplify the reach of the programme by sharing information about the open registrations with their networks.
We thank Gurjot Singh for representing Digital4Business at this key event and for continuing to raise awareness of the programme’s unique offer to business professionals across Europe.
