At the recent “DIGITAL EUROPE PROGRAMME PROJECTS MEETING – Advanced Digital Skills” event hosted by the European Commission at the prestigious Centre Albert Borschette in Brussels, our representatives, Professor Horacio González-Vélez, coordinator of the Digital4Business project and Founding Head of The Cloud Competency Centre at NCI, and Brian Cochrane, Senior Manager at Schuman Associates, had the privilege of showcasing the ground-breaking work of Digital4Business. This event provided a platform for experts and thought leaders in the field to come together, reflect on past achievements, strategize for the future, and drive the European digital transformation forward.
Digital Europe Programme: A Vision for Advanced Digital Skills Education
Horacio and Brian proudly represented the Digital4Business project, with our stated aim to be at the forefront of advancing digital skills education in Europe. Our project is dedicated to bridging the digital skills gap by bringing academia and industry closer together, with a shared commitment to shaping a future-ready European workforce.
Champions of European Competitiveness
At the heart of Digital4Business lies a clear mission: the design and deployment of a cutting-edge European Master’s Programme focused on cultivating advanced digital skills. This program is carefully crafted to emphasize real-world applications within European business contexts. By harnessing the power of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and cloud computing, our aim is to provide academic programs that are not only led by market demands but also champion the competitiveness and growth of European businesses.
Collaboration for a Digital Future
Our participation at the European Commission event was more than just a presentation—it was an opportunity to engage with fellow experts, policymakers, and stakeholders who share our passion for advancing digital skills in Europe. We are excited to share our milestones and explore collaborative avenues to further bridge the digital skills gap across the continent.
